Who We Are
The Family Perspective Institute was founded to apply the same rigor that academic research brings to other fields to one of society's most consequential subjects: the family. Founded by a group of individuals strongly convinced of the role families play in society, we bring together researchers, family members, and policy advocates who believe that strong families are inseparable from strong communities and that the case for supporting them is evidence-based. Started in San Antonio, Texas, FPI is a young organization built for the long term. We fund original research, translate findings into practical tools for parents and communities, and work to ensure family-centered thinking has a seat at the table wherever policy is discussed.

Vision
The Family Perspective Institute (FPI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the recognition and understanding of the role families play in society.
Mission
We achieve this through evidence-based research, training programs, and awareness-raising initiatives. FPI promotes parenting support, equips communities with essential development tools, and trains young leaders to engage effectively with international institutions.
