Accessibility Statement

Family Perspective Institute

The Family Perspective Institute (FPI) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to make our website usable by the widest possible audience, including individuals with disabilities.

Our Commitment

FPI strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Measures We Take

To support accessibility, FPI takes the following measures:

  • Including accessibility considerations as part of our website design and content review process

  • Providing text alternatives for non-text content, such as images

  • Ensuring sufficient color contrast between text and background

  • Structuring content with clear headings and consistent navigation

  • Designing pages to be operable using a keyboard alone

  • Ensuring forms and interactive elements include descriptive labels

  • Reviewing and testing pages periodically for accessibility issues

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. While we work to meet or exceed applicable accessibility standards, some content on our site — including material provided by third parties or legacy documents — may not yet fully conform. We are actively working to identify and remediate any such issues.
